We are looking for:

A Sous Chef (M/F) in Permanent Position
As a true partner to the executive chef, you will maintain a quality and style of cuisine consistent with the establishment’s reputation.
You will supervise the teams in the preparation of dishes and ensure that the technical sheets are properly followed.
You will be proactive in bringing new ideas and actively involved in the training and development of your teams.
As a meticulous and rigorous professional, you will adhere to the quality requirements defined by the head chef. You have a deep knowledge of food products, their storage and usage conditions, as well as hygiene rules and safety standards.
Good listening skills and a desire to work in a constructive environment are essential.
The brigade consists of several dozen people working in a positive environment, so it is important to be adaptable and willing to adhere to the establishment’s values: solidarity, team spirit, kindness, and a healthy multicultural atmosphere.
Profile
As a meticulous and rigorous professional, you have a dynamic, adaptable, and responsive personality in your work. You have previous experience as a sous chef and have demonstrated stability by staying in your previous positions for several years.
Independent and proactive, you are creative, passionate about quality products, and strive to satisfy customers dining in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
You are recognized for your human and educational qualities, have great organizational skills, and can communicate easily in both French and English.
Your leadership will enable you to implement and enforce decisions made by the management and executive chef.
Conditions :
- Position to be filled quickly
- Proposed remuneration: CAD 63,000 to CAD 65,000 depending on experience
- Permanent contract, local contract
- Quality accommodation possible for the duration at a very moderate rent
